Let Me (Re)Introduce Myself

It’s been a while, but I’m back.

I never intentionally decided to stop posting on here but there were some big changes in my life that happened around this time last year.  The biggest one was that I got pregnant and along with that came a lot of exhaustion and lack of motivation. I was so excited to create content when I started the blog but the pregnancy fatigue hit me hard and I couldn’t find the time or energy to blog or even post on Instagram.

I am now 6 weeks postpartum and just starting to get my energy and motivation back. I’m really inspired and can’t wait to start producing some great content to help others who are on this debt free journey.

An update…

A few other changes that have happened since I last posted are:

  1. We finally became debt free!
  2. We started working on Baby Step 3 (and are reeallyyy close to completing it)
  3. I went part-time at my job at the architecture firm.

So, what’s next for The Woo District?

I started this blog back in November of 2015 when I was in the middle of working on Baby Step 2. I used this space mainly as a place to document my progress month to month. Now that we have completed Baby Step 2 (and now almost Baby Step 3), my goal is to fill this space with articles and resources to help others also become debt free and live an intentional life  (I’m still working on this every day). Which leads to my next question…

How can I help?

Those of you on this debt-free journey, (especially those on Baby Step 1 & 2 because I’ve already been there), what do you need help with? What kind of information or tools do you need?

I would love to help and if that’s by creating some type of budgeting worksheet or post explaining how to budget, please let me know. Becoming debt free and changing my financial mentality has impacted my life so much that I would love to help others do the same. Like Dave Ramsey has said, when you are in control of your finances, financial issues become “inconveniences” instead of emergencies.

A peak into my blogging schedule..

From now on my blogging schedule will consist of posting 4 times a week. Below is a schedule showing the types of posts I will be posting and on which days. I’ll be focusing on personal finance posts and a bit of lifestyle and DIY’s that I think will help with living intentionally.
